Tom Kenefick purchased the 125 acre vineyard in 1978 and began the process of replanting the property. Located just south of the town of Calistoga and at the foothills of the Palisade Mountains the southwest facing vineyard possess diverse soils ranging from deep sandy loam to red rocky volcanic. Adjacent to Eisle Vineyard (formalyAraujo Estate) Tom knew he had a location with great potential.
